Co-Owners of WESLEYS DELICATESSEN AND DINER are Chef Wesley Ross and Linda Alisesky.
Wesley Ross is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and has received certification as an Executive Chef and Culinary Educator. Wesley served as a chef instructor for The Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts in Pittsburgh.
Chef Ross has more than 35 years in the food industry, 20 of which as a professional chef and 25 of which were spent in the catering business as an owner, director, and chef. He has been a working chef at casual fine dining establishments including The Sewickley Hotel, Sewickley, PA, Benjamin’s Restaurant, Indiana, PA, and Not Just Toast, Oakdale, PA. Most recently Chef Ross had the position of the Director of Food service at Community Human Services, a non-profit corporation. Overseeing the production and distribution of more than 90,000 meal annually, and developed a small catering service named Bite Catering for the purpose of social networking
Linda Alisesky with her true entrepreneurial spirit has started up a number of small businesses of her own. Linda has owned and operated her own piano studio for over 10 years and still maintains a small roster of students. She is also an accomplished seamstress and when her children were young she had a sewing business. She has served businesses and non-profits as a bookkeeper and administrative assistant, and will take on this same role for Wesley’s Delicatessen, as well as other functions of the day to day operation.
